Questions people ask

Can I download Instagram reels, photos and profile pictures?

Yes, as long as they are public. Paste a reel or post link, or type a username for the profile picture.

Can I download from a private account?

No. Private accounts and their posts can't be downloaded.

Can I download Instagram stories?

Yes, active stories from public accounts. Open the Story Downloader, type the username or paste a story link, and each story appears as its own card. Stories disappear after 24 hours, and highlights aren't supported yet.

Will the person know I viewed their story?

Stories are fetched through an account used by this site, so that account may appear in the story's viewer list. Your own account is never involved.

Why does it say Instagram wants a login?

Instagram often asks servers to log in before showing a post. Wait a minute and try again, or try a different link.

What size is the profile picture?

We fetch the largest version Instagram makes available for that account.

Is it okay to reuse what I download?

Photos and videos belong to their creators. Save them for personal use, and get permission and give credit before sharing or posting someone else's work.
