How it works

  1. Copy the tweet linkOn X, press Share on the tweet and choose Copy link. In a browser, copy the address from the address bar.
  2. Paste it abovePress Get media. Each video, photo or GIF in the tweet shows up as its own card.
  3. Press DownloadVideos and GIFs save as MP4, photos save in their original size.

Can I download videos, photos and GIFs from X (Twitter)?

Yes, from public tweets. Paste the tweet's link, choose what you want, and download. No login or app is needed.

Why can't I download some tweets?

Tweets from protected accounts, deleted tweets and tweets marked as sensitive aren't available. A tweet with only text has nothing to download.

Are GIFs saved as GIF files?

X stores GIFs as short looping MP4 videos, so they download as MP4. They loop in most players and apps.

Which video quality will I get?

The best one by default. If the tweet has several sizes, you can pick another from the list on the result card.

Is it okay to reuse what I download?

Tweets belong to their creators. Save them for personal use, and get permission and give credit before sharing or posting someone else's work.
