How to Download Instagram Reels on iPhone

On an iPhone, a downloaded file goes to the Files app first. Here is the full path to your Photos.
Saving files works a little differently on iPhone than on Android. The Reel first lands in Safari's Downloads, and from there you can move it into Photos.
Menu names can vary a little between iOS versions, but the path stays the same.
Step by step
- Copy the Reel's linkIn Instagram, tap Share on the Reel and choose Copy link.
- Open the downloader in SafariOpen the Instagram Reels Downloader page in Safari and paste the link.
- Press Get media, then DownloadWhen the preview appears, press Download.
- Find the fileTap the download arrow next to Safari's address bar and open the file. You can also open the Files app and look in Downloads.
- Save it to PhotosIn the Files app, press and hold the video, tap Share and choose Save Video. It now appears in Photos.
Useful tips
- Safari works best. Other browsers may show slightly different menus.
- Make sure your iPhone has enough free storage.
Common problems and fixes
I can't see the download icon
Look next to Safari's address bar. If it's not there, open Files and check the Downloads folder.
There is no Save Video option
Press and hold the file in Files, then tap Share. The names vary by iOS version.
