Taking a screenshot of an Instagram photo cuts off the edges and lowers the quality. Downloading from the post link gives you the picture at the size Instagram stores it.

Step by step
- Copy the post linkOpen the post, tap the three dots or Share, and choose Copy link.
- Open the Photo DownloaderPaste the link and press Get media.
